The day was started at Gangshan Home of the Air
Force Academy flying the AIDC AT-3 Tzu Chiang , Beech T-34C and
Beech 1900 on arrival the AIDC AT-3 Tzu Chung where doing their
thing swiftly followed by a wave of T-34 Mentor's. It is
possible to stand at the end of the runway to see what is
happening on the base, but we decided to keep clear of the fence
with the amount of farmers working on the fields. |

As we had time to spare with the decision not to go to the east
coast again the plan was made to visit Pintung again at the end
of the day in the hope of seeing some aircraft return. |

In the main time we would give Gueiren an other visit in the hope to
score some of the other types. And a quick visit there resulted
in some OH-58 and TH-67 choppers. |

On the way back we did some W&R in the area before heading back
to Pintung were we were treated to an E-2 Hawkeye and a P-3
Orion in the last day light . |

Before heading op to Chiayi we visited the Fo Guang Shan
Monastery and Buddha Museum near Pintung . The complex includes
next to the monastery buildings a lane with many pagodas and a
huge golden Buddha statue. Definitely worth the visit also when
you do not have all the time in the world. |

The night was spend at the same hotel as earlier in the week and this time we
made it to the pool on the rooftop , its somehow strange to enjoy a pool at 11
o’clock in the evening in the beginning of December |
