Karo-Aviation visit's  the Vouraikos canyon in Greece

We travelled to Greece, hoping to capture some of the participants of the 2025 edition of the Iniochos exercise at Andravida in the low-flying area on the Peloponnesus during the week before the exercise.

On the first day Wednesday 26th of march we left our hotel in Kalavryta to go to the winery for a spot on the mountain, on arrival the parking was already fully pack so we decided to go to a different spot.

Not knowing what to expect, we were very happy that the activities kicked off with four French Air Force Mirage 2000 going really low ,followed by two Slovenian PC-9’s wo thought it was nice to go inverted true the canyon.
In the afternoon, with the sun moving during the day, we positioned ourselves on the other side. After arriving there, we were soon treated by some F-18 from Gando and some Hellenic Air Force F-16’s, passing quite low.

The Indian Sukhoi’s that were supposed to follow them in the canyon stayed very high above the canyon. The day was closed by some Italian Tornados who came direct from their home base. Very happy with the result of the first day, with 20 passes we returned to our hotel and enjoyed a very good meal and a beer in the evening

On our second day we returned to the same spot where we started the previous day seeing a lot of familiar faces. Soon after arriving the Greek Air Force came down the valley with several F16’s. This was the start of an incredible day with around 40 passes, the weather didn't play ball all day but with so many passes there was nothing to complain about. Luckily for us even the Greek F-4 Phantoms and Mirage 200 attended making the day one to remember.

Friday was our last day in the canyon, as this is a non-flying day for the Greek Air Force not much was expected. Looking at what was seen last year we still had some hope that some of the foreign participants would fly today  . After it started raining around midday and nothing had come by we decided to go to Athens and have a beer on some very nice days in the canyon.
