Next stop was Deklia Tatoiater this
base holds the Air Force Museum and 359 MEADY flying the Dromedare and
360 MEA flying the T/41. Also present is the fixed wing part of the
Coast Guard.
We only had a visit to the museum, after completing the museum. We where
informed that the store was not Part of the visit.
The museum has a nice collection of planes that served with the air
force and is starting a collection off WWII wrecks selvedge from the
see. There are planes to move the museum to the old international
airport in Athens. This to make it more visitor friendly, as it will be
no more on a active airbase.
