A day at BA112 Reims-Champagne,
Seizing the opportunity to see the
Mirage F1CT before disbandment we went to Reims on Tuesday
07-07-2009.
Although we did get hit by two thunderstorms there was enough sun left
and also there was no interest from any police force or guards at all.
We even did some roller shots along the fence. Things have relaxed over
the years in France. Too bad many of the air bases and units in the
region are being closed down in the very near future (Colmar, Reims,
Cambrai, etc.).
We were able to log and graph many local F1's, also the F1B with the
special colour tail of Groupe 'Alsace' 1941-2008.
