The first base was Araxos, home of the last A-7 squadron of the Hellenic Air Force. Under a very nice blue sky we entered the base and where on the static in no time. As expected the static was not very big, but still some very nice aircraft present and displayed in a way that was good for pictures. It was amazing how much was possible this in contrary of some of the stories told over the last years. With the possibility of three more bases to visit this day it was of to Andravia only half a our away.
