08-09 Amsterdam - Halifax (Saturday)

Via Schiphol we went to Heathrow to travel with Air Canada to Halifax to start the trip.
On arriving at Halifax we were informed that our luggage would arrive a day later as it mists the connection on Heathrow. So we had to be back at the airport the next day.

On the airport the first aircraft of the trip where noted a MC-130 and a P-3. Next to the airport is the Halifax Atlantic Canadian Aviation Museum, the museum is not that big and is very crowded. After visiting the museum it was off to the Halifax harbour and our hotel.

In downtown Halifax we enjoyed the good food en nice weather on the pier. It is always nice to see planes landing and taking off from the water. On the way back to the hotel we made a quick dash to Shearwater to check out the possible arrivals for the airshow, except there was nothing to see from the outside of the base.
